Chief Executive Officer Mr. Afshar has 16 years of ownership and consulting experience in the collision repair industry. Immediately prior to VeriFacts, Mr. Afshar was a collision repair consultant from 1998 to 2002 to EZ-Image, Go Media and Ensera. Mr. Afshar was Sr. V.P. of Business Development for EZ-Image (electronic claims and imaging solutions) and was instrumental in selling the company to Go Media. After the sale, he advised Go Media concerning business development in the collision repair industry. Ensera purchased Go Media in August 2000. After the purchase, Mr. Afshar advised Ensera concerning industry acceptance of Ensera’s new claims solution. From 1989 to 1998, Mr. Afshar owned and operated Sterling Automotive Inc. headquartered in Orange, CA. The firm offered a one-stop solution to clients’ collision repair needs. He expanded the operation to Anaheim and Riverside CA. In 1998, Mr. Afshar sold his collision repair facilities to M2 Collision Care Centers and fulfilled a one-year management contract with them. Mr. Afshar also owned Express Lube, Oil and Smog Station (a franchisee of Texaco) from 1997 to 2000. Mr. Afshar holds an Electrical Engineering degree from California State University Long Beach.

Mr. Afshar has served in key positions in collision repair industry trade associations. He is the past chairman of the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) and has been a board member since 1994. He received an Achievement Award for outstanding Dedication in 1988 from CIECA. He was the Vice-Chairman, 2001-2003, of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) and has been a board member since 1995. Mr. Afshar was the chairman of the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair (I-CAR) in Riverside County from 1994 to 1997. He was also a board member of the California Auto Body Association (CAA) from 1991 to 1993. He has been an active member of the Write it Right Committee of the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) since 1999. He was a co-chairman of Electronic Commerce Committee of CIC from 1996 to 1997. He has also been a Gold Pin member of CIC since 1992.
