VeriFacts Outstanding
Quality Award Winners Honored
Las
Vegas, NV, November 3, 2004 – Finalists and winners
of VeriFacts Automotive’s Outstanding Quality Awards were
introduced at the 2004 Collision Industry Night of Achievement,
held in conjunction with the International Autobody Congress and
Exposition (NACE).
VeriFacts has established three categories of top achievement to
recognize outstanding performance from individual technicians and
collision repair shops committed to attaining higher repair quality
as measured through VeriFacts Shop Coaching Program. “To qualify
for an award in any of the three categories, collision repair shops
must participate in the VeriFacts Shop Coaching Program for a minimum
of three months,” said Farzam Afshar, CEO and co-founder of
VeriFacts Automotive. “The technician and shops that scored
highest in their respective categories were presented the top award,
with finalists being recognized with a certificate of repair excellence.”
In the category of VeriFacts Outstanding Technician, the top award
was presented to Paul Williams of Fletcher Jones Motor Cars, Newport
Beach, CA. Other finalists for the award included: Raciel Alvarez,
Caliber Collision, Downtown–San Diego, CA; Joey Hatch, ABRA
Auto Body & Glass, Murray, UT; the team of James Herman and
Jacy McCann, Caliber Collision, North Richland Hills, TX; Nick Markulis,
Ric’s Body & Paint, Scottsdale, AZ; and Dennis Palmer,

UT. The other finalists in this category included: Apex Auto Body,
Huntington Beach, CA; Fletcher Jones Motor Cars, Newport Beach,

in this category were Caliber Collision Centers, Fresno, CA; Marina
Auto Body, Marina Del Ray, CA; and Ric’s Body & Paint,
Scottsdale, AZ.
“The results in all three categories were extremely close,
with less than one-tenth of a percent separating some of the finalists.
In the award category of shops using the program over nine months,
each finalist had an average quality score of 90% or greater,”
stated Mark Olson, COO of VeriFacts. “All winners and finalists
should be congratulated for their commitment to producing high quality
collision repair.”
